@randystreat It really was a ridiculous time of day to get up! I don't have filters to cut down the light so it's all a question of taking long exposures at dawn or just before dark. It was very nearly daylight but very dull and dreary so I played around to bring out the textures in the groynes:)

@suzanne234 The forecast was cloudy but you need some clouds for the best sunrises. Forecast didn't mention the thick bank of fog in the distance! I've had catnaps (long ones) twice today due to this morning's silliness:)
