Went to Broadstairs yesterday afternoon. The day was grey, miserable and trying to rain. Once there, the sun came out. Surprisingly for a sunny day at the seaside in summer, there were more gulls than people on the sand. The grey building on the horizon is Bleak House, formerly lived in for a while by Charles Dickens.
I remember when we were looking at Dickens info when in England there are just so many museums houses etc that are set aside to honour him. Lovely crop of this seaside image.
