Watching the Waves

Day 9 of the Nifty Fifty SOOC challenge. So much harder than I'd thought it would be, especially with my 'guess and press' method for longish exposures. I have a particular talent for crooked horizons so in the end decided to opt for one without any sky in it whatsoever ... I was itching to sharpen it just a tad and add a Nik filter but didn't, so here it is, just as is.

What a great composition and you got the timing just right to create this lovely atmosphere. I feel really bad not to be joining in the SOOC challenge for the month. I think it would do me some good - but it isn't the right time for me with having so much else on. Full of admiration for everyone else though. Well done with this.
