One for the Nifty Fifty challenge, just as it came out of the camera.
Also for the Do Over challenge. This is a revamp of the very first picture I posted on this site on 21 December 2016. A really cringeworthy shot! Am still not very keen on the subject but I definitely prefer this version. The first shot (understandably!) received no feedback. When I began this project my main subjects were dogs and flowers and I was deeply entrenched in Auto mode, too scared to venture out of it. Somehow I seem to have skipped AP and SP and jumped headlong into Manual, not always with much success! I can attribute my progress to the amount of pictures I've taken, but mostly to joining the Get Pushed group. It certainly has lived up to its name, and I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone who'd like not only to improve their skills but also to have a prompt to work to each week. Many thanks to @northy for organising this group. Thanks to @stephomy as well for starting up the Do Over challenge.
Here is the link to the original (believe me, you're better off not clicking on it!)
Saw that challenge and am thinking about it. I don't even remember what some of my earlier shots were of! As for your link- see if this works... http://365project.org/fbailey/365/2016-12-21
Ooh! I love that you wanted to try this challenge. It was totally worth looking at the old picture. I could really see the change. I think the real proof to your improvement is that this SOOC.
How wonderful that you did this for what looks like a really interesting challenge. It really does show how far you have come. And to be working with sooc too. very impressive indeed.
This is beautiful. I think this is so much better than the first but that was good too - composition and thought - even for your first shot so you shouldn't put yourself down so. I must get involved with the challenges more - esp get pushed as I haven't really yet. I think this has real atmosphere and so well done for sooc!
