Sorry for another IR shot, this was taken yesterday and is looking in the opposite direction. Today's shots didn't go as planned so am using this instead. Will try and produce something completely different tomorrow!
Hi Felecity, beautiful capture. I bought an ir-filter on line and if i take photo’s with it i get a black and red result. Is that the same with your camera? And have you an idea how i can get your lovely result?
There are a lot of videos on YouTube about processing IR shots. I started with an IR filter but found I was knocking the focus out when I put the filter on the camera so bought a cheap converted IR camera from Ebay which came pre-programmed for landscapes which was v handy! My images always come out red too and I have to play about in Elements to get either blue/white, chocolate/white or b&w. If it's helpful to you I can type out a list of how I get to the end result but I did have to download a Channel Mixer from Adobe Downloads as Elements doesn't have this.
@fbailey I’m working often with GIMP so i’m going to try this with the help of the videolink you posted. If it’s not working i would love to have that list from you. 🤗

My list is basically a compilation of bits of this link, but you're very welcome to it:)
