@bob65 Oh do Bob, I started out with this tutorial: https://medialoot.com/blog/how-to-make-a-fake-color-infrared-effect-in-photoshop/
I then tried an IR filter but it wasn't too successful, so bought a second hand converted camera from Ebay. It has restored my interest in photography such a lot as it has such an element of fantasy. Hope this helps!
@fbailey I love almost all these IR pics you post... Did you post images earlier where you used the IR filter? if yes can you post a link? oh and its offcourse a fav :)
@madeinnl Thanks for the fav, I post when I get the chance, often later in the day, but this one went up a little earlier because I took it in the morning or early pm and was busy for most of the rest of the day. The IR pics are usually tagged "infra red" if that helps:) When I remember that is!
@madeinnl Sorry, senior moment earlier. I now understand what you were asking. I posted three images last August. The first two were faux IR images and one with the filter was a sepia image later in the month. Apologies but I can't seem to post links in this comment. Dates are 5th, 12th and 18th August.
Found those you mentioned... first 2 are bit "purple"? but the one on the 18th seems very good to me... Thank you for taking the time to look em up for me... Maybe i should start with a filter :) recently bought a 18-250 so i dont have to carry several lenses, so a 2nd hands camera or other lens have to wait a bit :) thank you again...
