Locket

Sally @salza gave me a get pushed challenge to use a vintage article or to use post processing to achieve a vintage effect. I used a combination of two very old family photographs and put them into a locket with Photoshop. The post card is my own and dates back to the 1920s and I dabbled a little with my own textures to enhance the vintage effect.

this oozes the past.. it looks authentic.. this is artistry at it's best.. the composition is superb - as is the choice of artifacts, in both number and varying textures.. i especially like the flower..

@jorlam I am touched by your beautiful comments - sincere thanks. The flower was a stroke of pure luck. It was raining, not much is in flower apart from Japanese anemones, and one of the handful I grabbed in haste was past its prime. It just fitted somehow.
