... of pears! We've had a sudden late heatwave this week and the late-afternoon sun in the garden was glorious. I snapped this as I thought the light on my heaving pear tree was lovely, nearly blinded in the process but it was lovely to wander around and soak up the last rays of sun.
@raebell@cfitzgerald@carriesmart Thank you saying such nice things! I haven't eaten those two yet but others have provided very nice pear crumbles! It's an old tree and when I moved in I was told it was 'past it' and to chop it down but couldn't... well this year it has had enough pears to send everyone one... alas finances don't permit but I shall eat them for you :)
