Well Alan Titchmarsh says a weed is only a flower growing in the wrong place. Thought this was pretty, there was a scattering of them in-between patches of daisies.. before George kindly mowed for me so I can't go back and reshoot it today..!
I must say, I'm really enjoying the challenge of focus and hopefully a different presentation for each flower this week. This one meant I got to lie down in the lovely afternoon sun for a while too... :)

I like this because it reminds me of a doll I had when I was very young. The flower is like it's eyes and the Welsh name for the flower is "llygad doli" which mean's "doll's eye".
