... thought you might like to see what I see. This is the view through my telescope, concentrating on the shadow-edge, helped by my camera on a macro setting held very carefully up to the eyepiece with a 2-second delay. I cropped out a lot of black sky - the rest is sooc and upside-down as it's a reflector telescope. I wish I had a better zoom on my camera or that I could take the telescope around in my pocket. Alas it's about 4-foot high and 4-foot wide.
I think if you look carefully you can see a clanger waving out of that crater...
So wonderfully chuffed at your kind comments on my first light shot yesterday... the morning light did have an ethereal almost magical feel about it - I'm glad you caught that too, thank you for calling by and being so lovely :)
oh this is fabulous, have always wanted a telescope, didn't realise you could do this with a camera. I used to love The Clangers ! Not seen it for years !
I read you explanation of how you do it but am still in awe. Don't know how you would focus and get this kind of clarity. Every moon shot that I try is a complete mess. Great job!!
wonderful, I actually hesitated and contemplated my finances as I walked past a shot selling telescopes today as a direct result of viewing this shot this morning
