My Dad was an old-fashioned creature of habit. One of his favourite sayings was 'don't cast a clout until the may is out'... meaning not trust the weather and decide to wear fewer layers until... until what? Until the mayflower was out on the trees, until the mayflower was finished, or until the month of May was begun.. or finished?! This was something he could never quite clarify but if we tried to go out without a coat he would remind us of the saying....
Well here is proof that May is out on all fronts so please feel free to cast your clouts.. I'm sure not even my Dad could object! Didn't realise that my hawthorn had such pretty pink flowers - only noticed that it pongs! :)
So pleased that you enjoyed my shot of the view through the telescope..thank you for your generous comments. It amazes me every time I see it so I was well chuffed that you liked it too.
I've been up to my ears in stuff and am behind on looking at your super pix so please forgive me while I do my best to catch up...
