What a day...dashed to the supermarket first thing then found my car wouldn't restart... half an hour before the hospital car was due to collect me for my 'research guinea-pig appointment' .. aaargh! A kindly neighbour collected me so that I was home on time for the connection and after about 15 tests on my poor eyes including dilating my pupils so they could have a good look, the hospital car brought me home as I couldn't drive. Some hours later it had worn off enough so a kindly RAC man collected me and got my car started and I gingerly drove home in sunglasses! Saw this and took a shot of it, darkened.. yet again so pleased with the gift of sight and the wonders we encounter.
So grateful to you for your views and comments on my birdy diptych... glad my antics might have raised a smile :) Have a great Friday!
#Hey - 600?! Goodness me I've been here 600 days?! Well thanks to your shots, they've been a wonderful 600 days :)
Yes indeed! The sense of sight is one not to be without when there is a beautiful sunset to be seen! Awesome capture! and a gorgeous one to end your venturesome day.
Great capture after such a harrowing day for you. I hope the tests come out okay. I would rather be lose my voice then lose my sight or hearing. Well done, Phil!
