Pondered awhile and decided that the penultimate shot of my 1096 project should be my two little stars - not so little now, but over the last 3 years they have tolerated me, joined in, come up with ideas, humoured me, sat in the car waiting and then told me off regularly when I had taken too long!
In this shot they are patiently standing almost still as the waves come in and I am doing a long-exposure with my newest toy, the nd filter. I liked the moment, a mix of newest and dearest, and if you look you can see their feet sinking deeper with every wave that comes past - just as well I stopped when I did!
So grateful for all your glances, views, comments and comradeship - thank you :)
Nice shot, Phil! I love the color of the water and the way the kids are staring off in the distance. It has been really great to watch them change over the years and they have been truly helpful in coming up with suggestions (including your pyromaniac son lighting things on fire!!). This is a great shot of brother and sister on the shore. Are those their footprints in the sand?
3 Years! Great stuff. This is a wonderful shot to mark the occasion. Very jdM in style. You'll have to keep going to throw out the challenge to him with your new toy. But time is the challenge for me as I know it probably is for you. Congratulations on achieving this milestone.
Well done!
