On the wing

I'm getting withdrawal symptoms! My camera and computer don't want to talk to each other any more and I am two photos behind already. Oh dear me.
Anyroadup, I recall that during my last 365 year my last get-pushed partner, Maddie, challenged me to take a shot using the panning technique. I had to wait a while to get some moving objects more interesting than cars, and during a boat trip in Norfolk I spotted water-skiers, boats and lots of birds. This one was my favourite. (It was flapping, not gliding btw)

Great shot, Phil! You captured it perfectly! How in the heck are people doing this? I can only seem to get turkey vultures drifting in the air streams. I can't get a bird in flight without it coming out all blurry. You did super!
