Judges Lodgings is Lancaster's oldest town house, built in around 1665, although some of its structure was re-used from a previous building that was on the same site. It's situated just down the hill from Lancaster Castle and the Priory, and was once owned by the Keeper of the castle. Today it is a splendid museum, showing some lovely examples of Gillow furniture and there is an exhibition of childhood toys on the top floor.
It has been a really bright day and I liked seeing this building in the sunshine for a change! - Lucy
