My week with Lucy in Lancaster really has been a week of two halves - wet dull days where we did short walks and museum visits, followed by four lovely dry warm and mainly sunny days, with much more energetic outings.
This shot is a reminder of how it started, with large water droplets on webs on some bushes beside the cycle path north from the University campus towards the city centre.
A wonderful capture of both web and rain drops. right now we have over 30 degree and high humidity. it puts a damper on long outdoor outings.
would like to thank your family for all the nice comments on my pictures while I'm on vacation and can't spend too much time on the computer.
Thank you Bruni - the weather early in the week didn't spoil our activities, because there are some excellent museums in Lancaster that we wanted to visit anyway. I sympathise with you in the hot conditions - I don't do heat very well!
