Yesterday afternoon I went for a walk, with the intention of taking photos of the huge plumes of smoke from a massive fire at a recycling plant near Sherburn in Elmet, some 15 miles south-west of York. Huge masses of smoke were visible, but developing cloud made it hard to get a good shot, so that was a 365 idea that I couldn't make work.
I continued through Rawcliffe Bar country park and noticed the water droplets on leaves and twigs, but my eye was drawn to this catkin and the drop that seems to be almost defying gravity. This shot is cropped from the original image.
A beautiful close up , with capture of those wonderful reflections .A great find
