Knex Vehicle, but where is Aunty Lucy? by fishers

Knex Vehicle, but where is Aunty Lucy?

"Let's build this", said Oliver pointing to a diagram. I took a deep breath and with his help produced this model complete with motor.

"Lets build this drill", said Oliver. Another deep breath and several hours later Oliver said "We need Aunty Lucy".

I agreed so you will all have to wait for a picture of a Knex drill.

That is quite the project

Ha ha. Looks like it must have taken some amount of work! Very impressed with your patience, even if the drill needs to wait for a bit....

@bkbinthecity It is always a challenge with Oliver. I think he likes to see me at work! katharine

@bruni Thanks Bruni. To be fair Oliver did a lot of work, I made one side and he made the other. Its a little difficult for him to make on his own at the moment. Katharine

@dolphin It was great fun but the Knex instructions are not a easy to follow as the ones for Lego. We had a great time working together. Katharine

@gillg Thanks Gill. I did have a lot of fun making this with Oliver but I am still puzzling out the drill. May have to wait for Lucy's expertise. Katharine

@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. Oliver enjoys making things with someone helping. We did miss Lucy's help. Katharine

@hshdebbie Thanks Debbie. I promised Oliver I would have another go at the drill tomorrow. We may have to wait for Lucy to get home in June to make the drill. Katharine

@dide Thanks. I like the challenge. Maybe I should play with it on my own instead of waiting for the grandchildren to visit. katharine

@bobhuegel Hi Bob. Its made with a kit called Knex. It is a bit like the Lego Technic, so a little more mechanical than basic lego. Katharine

Great capture of that clever construction. Looks like something that could keep you busy for hours.
