Camper Vans by fishers

Camper Vans

These wonderful models were at a Lego exhibition Ian and I visited at York University. There were many wonderful constructs and I wondered why we didn’t have our Lego out more often!

I liked the comparison between the two camper vans on display - a bought model kit on the right and, for me, the more imaginative construct on the left.

The camper vans were a favourite as they reminded me of Lucy and three friends, who as young teenagers, dreamt of buying a camper van and touring the country giving dancing lessons.

I love the coloured one too. Looks like a real hippy van and is cleverly done. Nice shot.

Are those vans made of Lego bricks ? Great . great capture too.
We have, once a year, a big model buildings show with a big Lego part. Have to visit it one time.

Legos are great! Brings back memories of when I was stationed in Germany for one year and had a VW Bug and camped around Europe whenever I had some time.

Colourful shot. I have loads of technical Lego in my loft - used to love it when my son was that age. Expect he'll claim it back soon as his children get bigger!

@pyrrhula They are all made of lego. The colourful one is made from ordinary bricks but the plain one is a lego kit. Katharine

@julzmaioro You picked the one I liked best. No idea if the two Clarkson's are related. He didn't look like Jeremy! Katharine

@stevepam It certainly is but such good value for money and can last generations - Ian's mum still has some of his. I'm not keen on the new model and themed kits. I think the ordinary ones are so much more versatile. Katharine
