It's taken a turn for the colder over the past few days, but this patchwork quilt I made a few years ago keeps me nice and warm!
This is Manx patchwork, which uses the measurements of your hand to make the pattern. You put a small square of fabric in the middle of a backing square the size of your hand span. Then you lay strips of fabric over each side and sew them down with running stitch.
It's a very quick method, and it's very warm because of the layers of fabric. -Lucy
