I've been at my mum's house since Tuesday evening, following her latest eye treatment at Rotherham hospital, and wet weather has dominated the time since then.
I had a brief look in her garden this morning, and found a bush with leaves absolutely covered with water droplets from the overnight rain, so here is a close-up of one of the leaves from that bush.
Thank you Ferry for asking about my mum - she has monthly hospital treatment for an eye problem, and her vision is affected for a couple of days, so I go and stay when she has an appointment. More worrying is Katharine's mum who is now very seriously ill and currently in a hospice in Sheffield.
Thank you Lizzy - the end must now be very close, Katharine had a call from the hospice on Monday to say she should get there as soon as she could, because they didn't think there was much time left as she had deteriorated quite a lot. Katharine's mum still battles on and is still with us at the moment though. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, they are much appreciated.
