These two are on the side of St. Martins Church in Coney Street, York.
I have to say that unlike some of the other gargoyles I've seen, these two look rather friendly, instead of frightening. They overlook a small recess in the pavement where friends often arrange to meet, so perhaps its good that they are not scary!
