Chopped or Cropped? by fishers

Chopped or Cropped?

I loved the way this tree looked as I was walking through Regents Park, London, on my way to Marylebone railway station to catch a train to visit Louise and her family.

I thought this tree had an interesting shape and wondered if it had been cropped to shape its growth or chopped as it was going to be felled.

I think it's been managed to keep it's shape. An excellent find.

Looks familiar..That is exactly how the five trees look like after all the branches were taken off. the job is still incomplete. the tree service people were back yesterday and one guy, unfortunately, slipped off the roof of our garden shed and they all called it a day. just hope he wasn't badly injured. nice picture, Ian.

Interesting capture, one can visualise many shapes in those truncated limbs. Should be interesting to see it in the Spring.

I can`t see what kind of tree this is. if it is a Willow he can survive.
