The end of October saw the opening of another new shopping arcade in Leeds, and represents an investment of £165 million in what is already a vibrant shopping destination.
This arcade includes the largest John Lewis store outside London, and numerous other high end stores, including Harvey Nichols.
It could be said that if you have to ask the price of a product before you buy, then it probably isn't the shopping centre for you!
Classic chic...black, white and gold! Many moons ago whenI was still living in the Isle of Man, we used to go to Leeds from time to time for a w/e for a change of pace and shopping. Now we live only 30mins from the centre of Rennes, Brittany's capital, another shopping Mecca. It holds no thrall.

I'm not an enthusiastic shopper - in fact the only reason I ended up in here was that I had just missed my connecting bus back to York because the inbound bus I was on was late. It was nothing more than a photo opportunity, and I didn't go into any of the shops!
It looks very fancy with all those golden colors and fantastic lighting. some of our larger malls have floors every shopper . one for the affluent ones where you don't find price tickets on the merchandise. another floor for the average person like us and a bargain center below ground level. fav.

Thank you Bruni - sadly this looks to be very much for the wealthy. There are other shopping areas not too far away for those with less money!
