Acer leaves with a hint of autumn colour

A walk to the homestead park in Clifton, York, three days ago, and beside the pond the acer tree is beginning to develop it's autumn colours.

I too hope we haven't seen the end of summer yet, and that there are still lots of warm sunny days to come! This acer has a long way to go before it develops its full autumn colour. The whole thing will turn a beautiful deep red / brown when autumn does come.
