A frosty morning walk along a flood bank which runs beside Clifton and Rawcliffe Ings in York, and here Blue Beck flows towards the flood bank which it crossed via a one way valve. This is due to change soon, when the height of the flood bank is raised by about 1 metre, and a pumping station will replace the one way valve.
Surprising news about Katharine today, when she was discharged from hospital, though with appointments to go back on Thursday and again in around 2 weeks time. Hopefully this time she will stay well enough to avoid yet another emergency ambulance back to hospital!
Gosh, that changed suddenly! Hoping with you for full recovery now and no more blue light adventures for her!
Lovely frosty image not far from the village I used to live in.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and fav, they are very much appreciated.
Katharine sends her thanks for all your concern and support during her time in hospital. She is now at home after being discharged yesterday and is resting and catching up on sleep.
