Riverside Living

Still in Hungate, York, this shot shows one of the apartment blocks built beside the River Foss as part of the Hungate redevelopment.

Sorry for the late post today, but sadly Katharine was taken back into hospital yesterday evening with severe abdomen and shoulder pain, so I was visiting her earlier. It came as quite a shock that problems should restart after 5 weeks back at home, but hospital staff haven't found any new issues, however there is a bit of a build up of fluid around her lungs, which should be delt with on Friday morning.

Oh dear, I'm so sorry to hear about Katherine. Do hope it's not too serious and that she can come home again soon.

Oh gosh, what a shock! I am so sorry to read this. Will be praying for Katharine and hope the drainage of fluid relieves all the pain and she can recover again. Much love.

Ian, I'm so sorry to hear this news - not the start you both wanted to 2020. Praying that it will end better than it's started.

So sorry for Katherine and I hope they get her back to full health very soon. I guess those that have a river view are very happy with it.

Thank you all for your comments and fav, they are very much appreciated.

Thank you also to all of you who have sent Katharine good wishes. She had a procedure this morning to remove excess fluid around her lungs and is feeling much better. She was really encouraged by all your comments. She remains in hospital, but could possibly be discharged tomorrow afternoon.

So sorry about the health issues. I hope they will soon be resolved. Nice capture. If I were in that building I'd insist on being river side.

I would be serene to have a view of the river. So sorry to hear about Katharine's pain and return to the hospital. Hope it is a short visit so she can return home again.

@vernabeth @gardenfolk

Thank you both for your comments. Sadly I have to say that the riverside view isn't particularly attractive.
