I had planned to share another collage from Midsomer today, but our daughter Louise sent us several shots from their family walk yesterday, and I really liked this one, so here you are, a view of Narnia, complete with a Narnia lamp post on the left.
This is actually on a housing estate near the entrance to Bourne Wood, in Bourne, South Lincolnshire. They had quite a fall of snow yesterday, so much so that the school where Louise works is closed today.
In some ways our life in the UK at the moment (and many other places I'm sure) is a bit like Narnia in the early part of the story, where it was 'always winter but never Christmas'. Here it's 'always lockdown and never normal'.
I liked the Chronicles of Narnia film and this shot does give a hint of that film. It is beautiful to see but hard to live in those conditions, I think, coming from a country where the sun shines for most of the year.
Louise sends her thanks for all your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
I'm a bit jealous of the snow Louise and her family have experienced. We had a brief period of snowfall on 14th January, which quickly vanished, but nothing since - and I do love walking in the snow.

Thank you Pat. I didn't recognise the scene when Louise first sent me this shot.

Thank you Vesna - Louise has a good eye for a photo.
