New Growth

There are several large old horse chestnut trees along the road which leads into the site of the former Clifton Hospital in York. I liked this new leaf growth on the massive trunk of one of these trees, caught in the low evening sunlight.

It really does feel like spring now, despite a few colder days, and with a partial lifting of lockdown restrictions from next Monday, there should be more chances to get out and about. Things are looking up!
