Several years ago our daughters Louise and Lucy decided to use some of the photos that they had taken during the year to make calendars for their grandparents, and this has become an annual tradition. The number of calendars produced has increased as well to a dozen and Katharine and I now produce a couple of them to show our exploits as well.
So, there is a massive selection and collation process before we can send the photos off for printing. The calendars we use take either 6x4 or 7x5 prints which slot into the calendar, and which at the end of the year can be easily taken out of the calendar and put into a photo album.
This shot shows photos waiting to go into one of the calendars that Katharine and I produced. You might recognise some of the photos, since most of them have appeared in our 365 project at some time this year.
What a great idea. Yes we did this for a number of years and used to send them to friends far and wide. We no longer do this, partly because of the increase in postage costs, especially to Canada where we lived for some years.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
All the calendars have now been completed and are ready for distribution. It is amazing how many memories are triggered as we sorted the photos. It has become a rather special tradition for us, for many reasons.

Thank you both - it is well worth the effort to created personalised calendars.
