This is the third and smallest item from the Thirsk Yarnbombers Christmas display that I have shared with you.
Much of Thirsk Market Place is used for car parking, a taxi rank and a bus stop, but the area around the clock tower is a paved pedestrian area, separated from the motor traffic by a series of metal bollards. The Thirsk Yarnbombers make good use of these bollards by making decorated sleeves that slot onto them. This example has a topper above the sleeve in the form of a rather nice looking Christmas Cake (though I wouldn't want to taste it!)
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
This is the last of the yarnbombing features for now, but I'm quite sure that there will be more photos featuring the creative work of the Thirsk yarnbombers in 2022.
