Taken on my visit to Thirsk last Friday, this is the Christmas display on the top of the post box in the Market Place, and created by the Thirsk yarnbombers.
The creative work of the Thirsk yarnbombers is quite impressive. They usually put on at least two or three displays during the year, and this year they have excelled with four displays. Many of their previous displays have featured in our project.
They sometimes have a charity market stall after a display, where some of their creations are sold to raise funds for local charities.
