I love sunset photos, so it came as something of a surprise to find that I haven't posted one since last September, despite having taken quite a few since then.
This is the view from the front bedroom of our house, and was taken a few days ago. Since then the days have turned grey and gloomy, but at least it is not too cold.
I presume the vapour trail is a commercial airliner passing, although there has been quite a lot of military activity in recent days.

I had hoped for a nice sunset today as the cloud started to break up earlier this afternoon, but no, thick cloud has rolled in at just the wrong time.
