Do you think we've missed any colours?

York Minster has been the scene of a light show called Colour and Light since 10th February, and continuing until 23rd February.

A series of colourful projections have been displayed on the exterior wall of the south transept of the Minster, and on the evening I visited it had drawn quite a crowd.

This was another project sponsored by York BID (Business Improvement District) with the aim of drawing more residents into the city centre to enjoy evening activities in the city.

This is absolutely beautiful! And your Colour and LIght is on for a good length of time. There was a similar show in Aberdeen last weekend but we were away from home and it was only on for four days.

Thnk you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.

After all this colour, one wondered if the rest of the display would be an anti climax, but no, it was wonderful from beginning to end. A constant kalidoscope of change, with around 70 photos taken by the end. The complete cycle lasted about 8 minutes, but I was so thrilled with it that I had to watch again!
