This shot was taken at the Homestead Park in York. It was a rather dull day with cloud, but it was lovely to be out for a walk. There are a lot of new flowers making their appearance, so my camera was kept busy.
This appears to be a variety of cranesbill. I rather liked the patterns on the petals, so I thought I would share it with you.

By coincidence Louise had also sent me a photo of one of these flowers shortly after I posted. She has one growing in her garden - one of a number of attractive plants given to her by a neighbour and which are growing successfully.
