My First Lizard

I visited a local park today hoping to see some birds or squirrels and this lizard caught my eye, crawling across a nearby fence. I was quite excited to actually get several shots as this was my first lizard capture.

Nice shot. I am in the Cayman Islands and we have these lizards too. They change colour when their neck comes out like that. They are pretty cool.

Whoa! THAT's no ordinary Texas lizard!!! What a stunner in a pairing of my favorite colors! And *thank you* for tapping me to take a look! I sorta wish everyone would do it with photos they think someone would like to see! I've spent the last 4-5 hours struggling with my computer, trying to make that flamingo photo for today and writing (and losing completely) a letter to friends coming to stay with us next week!
