Howdy, everyone!
My "A Year With My Camera" course is rolling along smoothly. We finished all the technical chapters in Part 1 and are now working on the composition chapters in Part 2. Here is my homework photo for "Leading Lines". This shot was taken in Las Cruces, New Mexico on our driving trip from Texas to Canada. We are now at our cottage on Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba, Canada. We'll be here for the summer.
Hi Gayle, great leading lines. We're off to Canada in August - a tour through the Rockies and up the Inside Passage, followed by a couple of weeks doing or own thing on east coast.
@merrelyn Hi, Merrelyn! Oh, I'm sure you will absolutely love your tour through the Canadian Rockies. Your couple of weeks on the coast should be equally amazing. My brother-in-law just returned to Toronto after wintering in Victoria, British Columbia and his photos from the west coast area are remarkable. I'm sure you will definitely enjoy your trip to Canada. :-)
@gaylewood We're really looking forward to it. The east coast is going to be pretty much flying by the seat of our pants. We've only booked our flight into Montreal and a couple of night's accommodation and our flight from Toronto back to Vancouver.
Howdy! What a lovely shot for leading lines. I hope someone was watching out for you in case a car came along whilst you were photographing! Super capture.
@jamibann Hi, Issi! Fortunately this was more or less an isolated area and we didn't come across another car for miles and miles. My friend did give me a strange look when I got down on my knees to get as low as I could for the shot. :-)
