Greetings! I'm from Connecticut (USA) Photography is one of my lifelong passions (others including gardening, woodworking, history, and being a part...
@kimmiesue "Morning, Sunshine -- Thank you Kim. I must agree with you; he is a little sweetie. I spotted him along my woodland walk when he had just fledged. I went back for 10 days in a row with cracked corn and bugs from my garden, (and my camera, of course!) and he and a few others became completely comfortable with me. I had no trouble getting really close. Oh, the things we do for a photo.....Have a great day, Les
@deens Oh, so true Nadine. For over 40 years, I have experienced the natural world in wondrous, joyous ways with a camera in hand. I am so grateful to photography. For me, usually what I feel when I am photographing is far, far more meaningful than than what I might (or might not have) recorded: rapture, awe, serenity, belonging, gratitude. Blessings, all; they are timeless, and unforgettable; no photo needed. As always, take good care, Les
@maggie2 Hi Maggie - Thanks for checking in, and I'm glad you like my "watch the birdies". I just LOVE taking them. Took some more this morning, so watch for the birdie :p) Take good care, Les
@quartzkat Much appreciated. :) (Since you are interesed in animal life, I thought I would pass along something I've come to know as a Wildlife Rehabilitator, and lifelong Birder: With many of the songbirds in our country, the yellow color that you see at the very corners of the beak, (as pictured) idenitifies it as a juvenile. Interesting, yes? Be well, Les
