Greetings! I'm from Connecticut (USA) Photography is one of my lifelong passions (others including gardening, woodworking, history, and being a part...
@irishmo Good mornining, Maureen, and thanks so much. It's always great to hear from someone new; thanks for stopping by. Off to the Garden now.......Be well, Les
@nicolecampbell Halloooo Nicole - Thank you ever so much for the fave! Wow, what a great compliment. Just you wait until you get your macro lens; you'll be having a blast trying all kinds of things. I saw this, and just HAD to have it! (I can't tell you how many times I had to wipe off the lens because the little "pollenators" kept flying it into it! Big Happy LOL!) Take good care, Les
@mwarren365 Thanks , Mike. I would add this to your thoughtful comment: God's work is always being done, aren't we fortunate to see it whenever we just look around us? :) Be well, Les
@kdrinkie Hiya Kim, and thanks for the great compliment. I can tell you, I was committed to this shot. I was sure that if I worked and waited with patience and appreciation, I would get something out of it. And so I was blessed. Be well, Les
@maggie2 Hi there, Maggie, and thank you so much for such a meaningful comment. It has been my habit since I was a kid to always carry a magnifyning glass, small tape measure, pocketknife, pad of paper, and a pencil. I was one of those kids who was driven to know and explore things; unusual, hidden, wondrous things, that Mother Nature has tucked away in every conceivable nook and cranny. I have many ancient "Nature journals ", and a surplus more of fond memories. That kid has never grown up; she just carries a camera now (along with all the same old stuff! LOL) Take good care, Les
@brumbe WoW! I appreciate such a generous comment, Paula. And thank you soooo much for the fave; makes me feel top of the world. (I hope to post some fire station shots this weekend; I have an empty block I can fill.) I'm telling you, you gotta check out the tag on my post yesterday 27th.... Be very well, Les
@supergrannie Good morning, Shirley, and thanks you so much for stopping by. it's always a real thrill to hear from someone new.. Speaking of new, I took a quick look through your "365" and WOW, what a lot of great work. I love your florals - rich colors, and lots of lush, greens. I also liked your shots of what I would call architecture. I look forward to seeing what you have in store, AND, I look forward to seeing pictures from a spot on the globe that is is completely unknown to me (it sounds lovely there.) Be well, Les
@kimmiesue Thanks so much, Kim.. I have to say that this is one of my favorites so far this summer --SOOC but for a quick crop. (I'm considering entering this one in a contest run each year by my favorite fun magazine: Birds and Blooms.) Have a wonderful week, Les
