You've already seen this weathered bench, well, part of it anyway (in sepia.) I liked this view of it also because you can see the horse and rider; a sure sign that horses have been part of the farm for a long time.

Great subject. Looks like someone wanted a little get away to relax next to the barn. Like the natural tones and the little blue flowers lower in the garden.
@denisedaly Lots of thanks Denise - I'm pleased that there was something in the foreground, elsewise, the shot wouldn't have worked. Hope you are having a great weekend, Les
@mwarren365 Many thanks Mike - This was one of those shots where I walked round and round trying to find a pleasing compostition. Afterwards, I was so tired that I had to "sit a spell" on the bench.:p) Hope you are enjoying your weekend, Les
@maggie2 Oh, thank you Maggie - This 'ol bench really was a great find. I was up and down, and all around, trying to get the most pleasing angle; I chose this one. It was good fortune that I had those nice, leggy flowers for color and interest. And, you are most welcome. x Hope you are enjoying your weekend, Les
@brumbe Thank you "muchly", Paula. You are oh, so correct; this was an ideal place for short sit-down where I could close my eyes and take everything in. I snapped them open at the sound of an outrageously loud snort! One of the horses wandered by, and then another, and then back again, regarding me not at all. It was as if i was invisable; I was in absolute heaven......Hope all's well, Les
@nicolecampbell Oh, thank you Nicole! I really struggled to find the most pleasing perspective; I think this was the one. Hope you had a good weekend, Les
