Greetings! I'm from Connecticut (USA) Photography is one of my lifelong passions (others including gardening, woodworking, history, and being a part...
@nicolecampbell@mjmaven Ah, Ha ! Got you wondering, eh? Well: it's a Super-Duper close up, it grows in my Perennial Garden, and this shows it coming out of its bud. That's all the hints for now :-) Les
@nicolecampbell@mjmaven@mwarren365@cath@netkonnexion@shellbelle@brumbe This is macro of just a single bud of a Cleome. Its flowers grow in a loose cluster. I'll try to get a shot of the entire flower and post it. They're not looking too great right now, but I'll come up with something. Thanks all, Les
@mwarren365 Not a mystery to me! A Cleome, and I have them every year in huge numbers. They are fantastic self sowers, so prolific in fact, that I have to pull up scores of seedlings in the spring. And they bloom until frost, reaching heights of 4-5 feet! Take care Mike, Les
@cath Much appreciated, Cath. I like that quote a lot. Working with deadlines also, I'm sure that you know what "crunch time" can feel like, and this is a much needed reminder to just tone things down. Happy weekend, Les
@shellbelle Hi Michelle, and thanks so much. This came out sooo better than I had hoped; sometimes our efforts pay off. :-) I really love the qoute too, and was glad to have the chance to pass it along. Take care, Les
