Avenue Of Enlightenment by glimpses

Avenue Of Enlightenment

I've been a walk from one of my favorite places for 27 years, my Library. It's my "home away from home." This non-fiction aisle is my most frequent stops I know, this picture has probably been done a million times, but I'VE never done it. And now I have. :-)
(I forgot to ask permission to photograph with a flash, so the bright bursts of light coming from upstairs caused a bit of a stir. They thought the lights were shorting out, as we were experiencing a real "gullywhomper" of a storm at the time. Oooops!)
A wonderful entry for the theme. So colorful.

@crickle1969 Ahhhh, a fellow library lover :-) I just heard of a new used bookstore that opened nearby. As I am loving my trials with sepia, I might go check it out shoot some "vintage" pictures. Be well, Les

@aspada Glad you liked it,; thanks. Ours is an absolutely charming little library built in the 1920's. It is brick with lots of details and flourishes,, and the inside has wonderful woodwork, and beautiful mouldings. Get this: In late 1930's, as a liitle girl, my mother lived just a jot away also, and visited the same Library, I think almost daily. :-)Take care, Les

@shellbelle It has a lot charm; old-style touches inside and out that you don't see except on "vintage" or period buildings. Have yourself a dandy week, Les x
