Remember Valentine's Day when you were a kid in school?? Scurrying to put your Valentine's cards on everyone's desk before the morning bell rang. The giggling, and snickering, and anticipation. The candy hearts with the message on them. The "big moment" when you were allowed to open all your cards. Peals of laughter, and shy glances. The cupcakes with white frosting and a big jellied heart on top. The tiny, cinnamon candy hearts, and the way they turned your tongue red. Having extra cards to give out in case someone unpopular didn't get many. Glancing into the wastebasket by the classroom door before you left for the day to see unwanted cards mixed in with a heap of hastily opened envelopes. It was a fun day, and the things that made it so, are the kinds of things you just can't photograph. :-)

@fmphoto Hi Fran! Great to see you............and thank you for the generous comment. I'm glad you remember "back in the day" also. I was smiling a lot that day, thinking of my childhood pals. Take care, Les
