Okay, so I think we've all established that I'm something of a freak and should possibly be locked up at the earliest opportunity. Having said that, I've been wanting to do something like this shot for a long time now. So what's held me back?
1. A lack of black plastic.
2. The knowledge that it probably wouldn't be my best idea or work.
Anyway, for better or worse, here 'tis.
Reasonably crappy unless you view it with your eyes closed.
Oh, and I'm officially half way. What a crappy way to do it.
I am a confirmed and certifiable nutbar with a penchant for skulls, bones, blood, guts, fire and anything slightly peculiar and mostly bizarre. I also...
You crack me up too!! I think you are really just a big kid who likes to play...hahaha!! I know...the men in my family are like that too! I think those wheels up there are always turning! I do think this is a cool shot! I especially love the goggles! You can be one of the new Avengers..."The Fallen Recycler!"
LOL congrats on the halfway mark! I must admit to not understanding this one but that just maybe because I have a cold so not working very well today. One question if I may Mr Stevens - what are you hiding in your pants below knee level? They look awfully bulky and thick. Packing heat maybe?
@mzzhope Thanks I think...not my best work, but I'll take it anyway! @cindyloo Thanks very much - if I had a jet pack I could rain terror from above... @annied Fat chance! @tabarlett Thanks...I think...not sure I want to be the perfect angel... @northy Thanks very much. I'm speechless as well, although I suspect it may be for different reasons... @cailts Certifiably insane...and thanks very much... @harbie LOL, thanks very much - I always wear goggles when about to fly. And yep, just a big kid. @taffy Hmmm...not too sure what I was thinking, but thanks very much @gigiflower Poor you...hope you recover soon. If it's any comfort I don't understand this one either. As for what's down my trouser legs, it may well be a ferret but there is nothing "heat" about it in this weather! @blueberry1222 Thanks very much...it is a bit random, even for me. Not sure where my head was at.
Haha, saw this on Trending. Plastic background is great too. Now what have you got in your mouth or is that kind of tape that they use to cover the eyes with so you won't recognise the person, well I good start of the morning with this shot!
@overalvandaan It's just duct tape over my mouth, better safe than sorry I think...and thanks very much @jaynspain Maybe a bit of both. I can't bring myself to like it whichever it is. @gigiflower Not a chance. It's far too cold.
@annied Fat chance I'd be let back in. I'd happily cut the wings off. It was such a close call as to whether I posted this or not but I had nothing else! @newbank Thanks very much...and I'm now waiting patiently...
@graemestevens I am glad you did - it made me smile because DOGMA is one of my favs and this really reminded me of it - it is surreal too and I like that also
@graemestevens it is the one with Alanis and Matt Damon as Loki - one of the fallen angels hahahaha - what other one are you thinking of? as for planet - hahaha - I hover between
I am glad somebody is recycling those old lawn bags!! I mean, we are falling from grace with the amount of plastic we are throwing into our landfills!! Oh, and I hope you can fly again someday....tough being stuck here on earth for eternity!
@andrewkru Can you help me....have you seen those adverts here in the Uk for a beer/lager....with a guy slightly resembling Mr S above that sits on a mountain and pulls a beer out of the snow? What is it for do you know? You tube and google not helping at the moment...
I'm not sure where to start on this. I guess it has to be I love it. Really torn on the high key effect you've moved away from the low key and I reckon this would have been even more disturbing so I'm guessing that's a good thing.
Keep it up though I always look forward and scroll through quickly to see what you've come up with next.
@annied@newbank I thought so, and then I changed my mind and got all discombobulated and out of sorts. But now I've eaten. I won't tell you what. @lorenaavalos Thanks, not so sure about this one, but thanks :) @panthora I might need new wings... @andrewkru Thank you very much indeed :) @dibzgreasley Thanks very much...I think ;) @chippy1402 Thanks very much - I did think low key would be better, but the "vision" I had was high key. This is not the "vision" I had...may have to try again at some point,
oh I do love it when you get discombobulated hahahahaha - so DOGMA - Alanis Matt Damon - *uc*ing hilarious - I watch it every time it comes on and if it is too long between viewings I whack in the DVD ha ha @graemestevens
@annied I've only seen it once, many moons ago... @hermann Yes, yes I am...but only because I like to wear my underwear outside my tights. And thanks very much. @pinkpaintpot No stranger than I'm seeing! @shannejw Can you still get video tape??
I can supply video tape - it's waiting to be posted to somewhere that recycles it - because there's only one place and it keeps changing whether it can take anything or not
@annied There are many thinks that tickle my fancy, and some things even go as far as fancying my tickle. @shannejw I love the way recycling centres keep changing their minds. They make it so easy for us.
The angel of ............ death, mercy, .........no, just an angel of darkness! Amazing and so creatively WEIRD!!! Well done on halfway! I've enjoyed the ride!
Oh no, not a fallen angel. Should I ever approach a mountain area I'd be afraid to look up just in case you were soaring overhead! Love this LOL image.
@sidecar Yes I am, you're welcome, and that's the best way to look at it ;) @lorrainelouise Thanks - that's about the only thing that works! @tellefella It should be out somewhere...thanks very much @lynnz Thanks very much, appreciated @lynnilou Thanks very much...I'm not sure what it is... @ceilidh Ssshhhhh...it's behind you... ;)
I can honestly say I don't get this one at all, but it doesn't matter, you really make me smile and I admire your dedication (wrapping yourself in black plastic - wouldn't even enter my head) and your freakiness (your word choice) and oh yes, just love your sense of humour! Running very behind, but will look forward to catching up on your work when I get a chance.
Oh and I read an article about the extremes photographers go to get shots today.... The image being discussed also made me think of you....the guy ( some famous photographer...) painted a room white and himself in the nude white....then painted aboriginal stripes over the room and himself..... He now has a book made about him. Maybe in the future this will star in a book of your images?
Only 2 reasons holding you back?? You can't think of at least 3.
I like the idea and innovation with the plastic. Once you hit bottom, there is no where to go but up! Congrats on half way! I hope it doesn't really mean half way, because I am enjoying your photos and look forward to more than just 50% more!
@newbank I've often thought I should write more...but I don't think it would be saleable... @brigette LOL, thanks - I'm not too sure about it myself, but thems the brakes @yaorenliu Not too bad - I had the heater on... @eyeamlisa Thanks very much - given time I could probably come up with at least 50.
@graemestevens@gigiflower@newbank
oh I swear like a trooper but there are some words that just describe it better - twat is one of them hahaha
What? like a forest fire lol?
@annied@gigflower@newbank I'm in total agreement on this one. Twat is a word that should be used every day if possible. And yes, like a great big wobbly forest fire.
I can't help it, I just spent a half hour reading all the comments. @gigiflower@annied@newbank Twat's that you say? @newbank Thanks for the link to the commercials, hilarious, especially the part about his nipples talking.
@bill_fe I loved the bit about the talking nipples too, just hilarious. I honestly don't know twat I've done to deserve those three, but it's a laugh a minute around here!
@gigiflower@annied@newbank I wouldn't quite go that far, but there are certainly times when you make my days go faster. If only because I'm rushing to the shed to get the axe ;)
@dh I have no idea what I was after, I have no idea what I was thinking, I still don't know that I even remotely like this shot...so hilarious will do!
I missed this but I just had to pop in, albeit a tad late, to give you a Fav. I think this looks like a wing suit after a crash landing and your expression here would seem to confirm that.
@cindyloo Thanks very much - if I had a jet pack I could rain terror from above...
@annied Fat chance!
@tabarlett Thanks...I think...not sure I want to be the perfect angel...

@annied Is that the movie with Alanis Morrisette as god?
Keep it up though I always look forward and scroll through quickly to see what you've come up with next.
@lorenaavalos Thanks, not so sure about this one, but thanks :)
@panthora I might need new wings...
@andrewkru Thank you very much indeed :)

@newbank He's done some very cool work...but I will be in no book sadly :(

Bras should be burnt and the word twat used more often
oh I swear like a trooper but there are some words that just describe it better - twat is one of them hahaha
What? like a forest fire lol?
@golftragic Thanks very much - needs more work, will be revisiting as I seem to have been re-inspired. Working on it.
@tabbycat Thank you very much :)
