Flow

We've had a lot of rain over the couple of days but what's a little moistness between friends? Once again taken with the Zenitar 16mm lens and once again I'm really liking what it's producing. I decided to keep myself out of the shot today which should come as a relief to all.
I suspect that this will look best on black.
Fantastic details and they come out so well in b&w. Each "third" of the photo has great detail from the rocks to the sky. Fabulous! Fav!

well you're a clever cookie
love the layers of texture - the foreground being my fav
well done!
you sort of ruined it with the moistness - but then again - you added the you to it all so I guess the beauty is balanced by the crudity hahahaha

@ksmale Thank you so much, very much appreciated :)
@annied Isn't 'moist' a wonderful word when you're trying to turn someone's stomach for all the wrong reasons...and in other news, thank you kindly.

Really nice pov, and I suspect you may have got your shoes wet. Lovely dramatic sky, and it looks great on black.
May 13th, 2015
Great dramatic sky.
May 13th, 2015
@northy Thanks very much - sometimes i can get it right :)
@888rachel I did get slightly damp feet but managed to scurry backwards in time to avoid getting seriously waterlogged - and thank you very much :)
@ukandie1 Thank you very much :)

Jae
Really? Kinda looks like where the sky meets the sea - nice shot but fire would break it up some ;)
May 13th, 2015
@graemestevens KNEESLAPPER RIGHT THERE!!! LOL hahahah.
May 13th, 2015
@lifepause oooh...I haven't played with fire for sooo long!

Awesome on black, this is wonderful!
May 13th, 2015
@hermann I spend my life on my knees so it made sense to stay there ;) And thanks!
@rangerxenos Thanks very much indeed :)
May 13th, 2015
Now I am really curious of using wide angle lens. Must get out to try this weekend.
May 13th, 2015
@yaorenliu I'm really pleased with the results from the old dinosaur that I'm using, I think I could easily be a big fan of this lens!
May 13th, 2015
You're giving me ideas with these 16mm shots! I suppose I'll have to thank you properly when I can make the ideas a reality! ;) Love this shot.
May 13th, 2015
Great wide-angle with the way you've layered the textures from sand to sky.
May 13th, 2015
Nice POV to get the waves coming into where your feet are standing - well you are too - just happen to be in your feet! Lots of dark clouds mean tons of rain!
May 13th, 2015
What a lot of drama from Mr drama queen
May 13th, 2015
Sue
There is a word for it I am sure but I can't find it, The way the clouds and the sea pull your eyes in to the horizon. Fabulous is all.
May 13th, 2015
@sioux Thanks very much indeed - I think there must be a word for it but I'm damned if I know it!
@newbank Well, yes...I may have flounced a bit when I did this too
@maggiemae Thanks very much - we've had so much rain over the past few days!
@taffy Thank you very much :)
@voiceprintz Thanks very much - I found it a difficult lens to start with but I love the results now!
May 13th, 2015
Brilliant - fav.
May 13th, 2015
@dide Thank you very much :)
May 13th, 2015
love the detail and feel of this
May 13th, 2015
I really like the way you composed this shot, with the water sort of mirroring the angry sky.
May 13th, 2015
Hey, the more moist the better I say. Another brilliant landscape shot.
May 13th, 2015
Sam
Are we friends enough to have ALOT of moistness between us?
May 13th, 2015
I agree with @ksmale ! Fantastic shot! It has that "world before humans" look. One almost expects a dinosaur to rise from the waves . . .
May 13th, 2015
@gigiflower oh Sam!!!!!
I am horrified! !!!!!!!
May 13th, 2015
@karlow75 I will forgive you since you're a fiery firery however it's spelt - wet is best hahaha
May 13th, 2015
This is a fabulous b&w! very moody!
May 13th, 2015
@nicoleterheide Thanks very much :)
@juliedduncan Thank you very much - the dinosaur was behind the camera ;)
@karlow75 I couldn't agree more - and thanks
@whimsicalgrateful Thanks very much - completely accidental composition!
@barb_b Thank you very much...
@gigiflower Oh my...I believe that the moistness between us is and always should be The Tasman.
May 13th, 2015
@annied Such filth. Unwarranted.
May 13th, 2015
@annied Also, spelt is a seed/grain...spelled is the word you were looking for ;)
May 13th, 2015
@graemestevens yeh spelled - it was late - I like saying spelt better though
*finger raised* AND *tongue poking out*
Only quickly though as it was totally and should only be the Tasman
May 13th, 2015
@graemestevens oh I forgot unwarranted - mustvhave typed it in my head not out loud
May 13th, 2015
@annied Absolutely not agreeing with you, if you know what I mean
May 14th, 2015
@graemestevens i know exactly what you mean ;-)
May 14th, 2015
nice! Love the tones
May 15th, 2015
