Four and Twenty Blackbirds.

We have had some rain recently and the birds are all covering the fields and grassy areas looking for worms I guess as they come up from the soaked ground

@karenann I was amazed after I uploaded the shot to see they weren't all black. From the distance they all looked alike. Right now they are everywhere on peoples lawns. Thanks so much for your comments!

Love this song. Nice memory as I have not heard it in years. Love your photo of these birds. What I love about taking digital photos is the surprises we can get when we upload or crop our photos, like the color of these birds. Nicely done.

@maeva I think they were just getting worms that were coming out of the flooded ground. they are everywhere right now because we have had lots of rain!
