...my sense of hearing. When my children were babies I used to say I would rather lose my sight than my hearing because I would be able to hear them if they needed me. Hearing allows one to detect nuances of expression that are othrwise lost in the written word.
I love a good thunderstorm but thunder is impossible to photograph. I confess to artistic liberty with this shot because, although it is raining, the chances of me catching a lightning strike are extremely minimal so I borrowed one from the interenet and blended it to this shot over my neighbor's house.
Nice layering! I know what you mean about the elusive lightning strike photo. I'm doing good if I catch the sky lit up immediately after! The sense of hearing is something to be thankful for (though I know it's possible to live a full and satisfying life without that). I would hate to give up listening to music. The only time I find myself wishing I were deaf is when my conversation with Dan is limited by my non-native command of ASL.
Looks completely realistic. Indeed, they say that a deaf person can end up way more isolated than a blind person. I'm thankful ro have both (at the moment).
