A day of catching up a bit, cleaning and thinking about my "photography" bucket list. This came up last month as a discussion here on 365. I responded that on my bucket list, aside from all the specific learning things....that my bucket list included having some of my shots hanging publicly. ; I've also wanted for a long time to go on a professional workshop. So...I am placing some shots in a local show next week and I've just signed up for a weekend with a pro. Catching up on comments here is now on my bucket list too...and that may be the more difficult one to achieve.
Great determination... well done for getting some pics accepted for showing. I've got some on show right now... but i keep saying 'no more'! Professional workshop.. now that is keen! Now, tell me, why is it called a 'bucket list'? I associate buckets with dirt! :-)
@yrhenwr Bucket list..I first heard the term in the movie with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman...think the idea is that whenever you have a goal/dream etc, write it on a piece of paper and throw it in the bucket...then pick them out and start doing them. jerry Seinfeld, on the other hand, changed the first initial to an "f"....usually I am more of that second school of thought.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond You're probably right, but I like Madeline/Seinfeld's changing the B to an F! So henceforth that will be how I read it! And I will smile as I throw all those things I never did into the Fucket!' @granagringa
I have a Photography Bucket List too. Granted, I haven't really added much to it. I've been too busy with the bucket of ideas in my head. But there are a few photos I really want to get: like the lone tree shot. Don't know what but I really want a shot like that.
Congrats on having images accepted for a local show as well as taking the huge step of joining a professional workshop.. hope it gives all you could wish for..
