9.25 am: In the train to The Hague. Through the window you can see the polder landscape that is typical for this part of the country. On the table are the free newspapers that are typical for train travel. My iPod is also on the table - I checked my iTunes and I was listening to Don't think twice by Mike Ness at this exact moment :)
Your cummunte looks more comfortable than mine. You see the fields and countryside, I see the mountains and lakes. One day if I can get a window seat I will try to show you mine.
great execution! such a lovely feel to the photo. I'm probably going to visit Holland this summer. I'm going to go see my friend in Aachen and we're planning to pop over as we did some years back. Amsterdam this time, I think. The last time we were in Utrecht.
@judithg Thanks, the paper is called Spits, a word that has a lot of meanings in Dutch: amongst others "rush hour" and "pointy". I never realised until now that it means something completely different in English, lol!
@jodimuli Lol, I almost always travel outside of the rush hour so no chance of my iPod getting stolen :)
@shantwin Yes please do! I love public transport shots. I only see about 5 minutes of fields and polder - the rest of the trip is quite urban looking :)
@deniseescovino My iPod is always with me when I travel so of course it needed to be in the shot :)
@rich57@viranod Thanks, and yes, it's a really nice commute. Only 12 minutes and loads to see. Travelling outside of the rush hour is so much better :)
@eleanorrigby Amsterdam is wonderful! A unique city. But there are a lot of tourists there in summer, so be prepared!
@petra@filo13@exposure4u@jendee3@harvey Thanks for your lovely comments, much appreciated! I really like my daily journey and wanted it to be part of my project :)

@gijsje Ja, dit is voor mij dagelijkse kost! (op werkdagen dan)
@smallenburg Groetjes terug :)
