4.32 pm: Our girls requested to have their faces painted this afternoon. Our eldest wanted to be a beautiful fairy and our youngest wanted to be painted black. That's not as disturbing as it seems: she wanted to be Zwarte Piet or Black Peter, a character associated with the Saint Nicholas celebrations earlier this month.
With this photo I have completed my project! I took and uploaded a photo 365 days in a row! I am proud to say that I haven't missed a day and didn't use a single filler.
I have definitely developed my photographic eye throughout the year - it's become second nature to me to look for photo opportunities everywhere I go. This has made everyday life much more joyful so naturally I will continue on for a second year.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who's been viewing, fav'ing or commenting on my pictures throughout the year. You have made this journey even more special for me. Hopefully all of you will be around next year too.
Well done Judith and great news that you're staying around!! I know what you mean about constantly looking for photos - I worry about it when I'm driving as I don't pay attention!! My daughter used to always go for a monster face not a fairy ... she turned out OK in the end!!
I am so glad you are continuing. I love the face- the tongue especially. I am stunned that you never used a filler. That is awesome. Maybe I will try for that in my second year.
Somehow that black paint makes her big eyes seem even bigger!
